  1. In a pan, heat ghee and roast rava till it turn to light golden colour. We don't need to roast it till brown colour.
  2. Add dryfruits to rava and roast them altogether. Now add aprx 2.5 cups of hot water and mix it well. Rava will absorb all water. Add more water as per your requirement. Cover the pan and let it cook for 5-7 mins.
  3. Add sugar and mix it well. Cover the pan and let it cook till sugar melts and desired consistency meets.
  4. Now add mango pulp and keep the flame on low and keep it mixing till whole sheera turns to be yellow. Add cardamom powder if you like it in your desserts.
  5. Keep it covered for another 5 mins. Add 1 spoon of ghee to it and mix again.
  6. Your mango halwa is ready to eat. For serving, you can garnish it with chunks of mango too.
