  1. Soak the Dal for 1 hr. In a pressure cooker add the drained dal, green mango wedges, turmeric powder, 3 cups water, salt, ginger-garlic paste and on high flame cook for 3 whistles or until Dal is cooked
  2. Depressurise and mash the Dal a little. Set aside
  3. For Tempering - in a wok heat ghee, add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and Rai. Once it splutters add sliced onion, slit green chillies, curry leaves and cook till onions are softened.
  4. Add coriander powder and stir for 1 min. Set aside
  5. Add the tempering to the Dal, add little jaggery and simmer for 5 mins. Set aside
  6. Garnish with slit green chilli, mango wedge and enjoy
